Two - Year (Full-Time) Post Graduate Diploma In Management(PGDM)
The Programme is approved by the
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD,
and Government of India.PGDM has also been granted equivalence to
MBA degree of an Indian University by AIU (Association of Indian
Universities).
PGDM Programme is a much sought
after Business Management Programme which aims at nurturing highly
motivated business executives to meet the growing needs of India
for trained personnel to lead and operate corporates in domestic
and international context. The specific objectives of the Programme
are to create comprehensive understanding of management concepts,
familiarize the participants to the competitive business environment,
inter-relate management concepts to the real life situations, enhance
analytical and decision making skills and develop responsive managers.
It lays equal emphasis on personality development and inculcates
a sense of business ethics amongst the students.
Under the PGDM programme, students
undergo learning and training in 30 compulsory papers and 12 specialization
papers in areas such as: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource and
Information Technology.
The Programme is divided into six
trimesters. The first three trimesters provide strong foundation
in basic disciplines, and the remaining three trimesters enable
the students to specialize in their area of interest. The Programme
equips each participant with the skill and competence to handle
different managerial,technical and administrative positions. The
curriculum is updated every year to meet the business and social
requirements.

PGDM is meant to offer quality management
education to all aspiring managers of tomorrow. The focus of this
programme is to inculcate among the students such perceptions, knowledge,
skills and abilities as would enable them to assume higher levels
of responsibilities and embody the crucial link between knowledge
and application, intellect and pragmatism. In the PGDM programme,
we strike a balance between the science and art of management. We
