Job Description

1- Will maintain liaison with support service for prompt attention to machines and ensure that the down time is minimal.

2- Will be directly responsible for the safety, upkeep and maintenance of all equipment within the department.

3- Will maintain log books for all equipment with relevant information regularly updated

4- Will adhere to the defined work flow pattern.

5- To ensure the x-ray room and darkroom is kept tidy and clean.

6- Will place regular indents for stores, consumables and drugs as well as developer and fixer chemicals.

7- Will follow radiation safety norms accurately.

8- To make sure the bed-sheets and the patient gown is clean at all time.

9- Will ensure proper disposal of fixers

10- To prepare x-ray envelopes for patients.



11- To prepare processing chemicals and to maintain it.



12- To maintain the x-ray processors.



13- To wash the rollers and processing tank weekly at a suitable time.



14- To process x-ray films.



15- To maintain film and chemical levels in the darkroom and inform the manager if need to order.

Desired Candidate Profile

1- DMRT or B.Sc. MIT with 1 to 6 yrs of experience
2- Good communication skills in English
3- Well groomed and customer focussed
4- Will maintain log books for all equipment with relevant information regularly updated
5- Will adhere to the defined work flow pattern.
