Job Description

This role manages the technical interface with customers and is a key support role in building the trust and credibility with customers that encourages them to continue to buy from Landis+Gyr.


Provide prompt response to the customers and Sales for any field related technical issues on the products supplied 

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks:

Customer Interface

Demonstrate products and systems to customers ensuring they understand the features and benefits of L+G products 

Chase Tenders and understand customer upcoming requirements, budget

Co-ordinate for tender sample testing with customers and Govt Labs

Ensure timely payment collection, BGs, EMDs etc

Render direct after sales support 

Market Intelligence

Provide feedbacks on customer expectations, competitor meters and support structure 

Provide feedbacks on the active tenders and coordinate with customers for tender clarifications

Provide feedbacks to R&D and PDM for new product development to ensure that we take care of old product issues

Technical Input

Knowledge of Testing meters as per IS / IEC / CBIP and other IS and IEC standards 

People Management

Complete Landis+Gyr people management system processes for direct reports including on the job training,

performance feedback and appraisal, annual objective setting, training and development 

initiatives and talent management

Corporate Citizenship
