Job Description

Provide necessary guidance and shall issue directions/procedures/formats of reports

Act as a Contract Specialist for construction package, even though the thrust of his responsibilities will be in the areas of quantity surveying/ processing of the invoices etc.

Responsible for taking all measures required to control the project cost and time over-runs

Examine the claims of the contractor, variation orders, if any, and will approve the progress reports as per the project requirements.

Hardworking, self motivated and ability to meet tight deadlines

To carry out monthly valuation of work in program, including forecasting final cost

Maintain sub contract database

Maintain material suppliers database

Preparation of quantities

Pricing of excavation, concrete, brick work, wood work, pipeline, sewer, drainage, culverts, bridges, roads, buildings etc.

Complete tender document for submission

Post-tender negotiation

Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre-tender and post-tender matters

Preparation and issue of contractual letters to Clients and Sub-contractors

Post contract liaison with Client

Carry out Site measurements for preparation of measurement books

Rate analysis as per SOR and market prevailing rates

Agreements and certification of sub-contractors in terms of valuation and final accounts
